Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson has vowed to continue working with Ashurst Morris Crisp, despite last weeks final snub by the UK firm after protracted merger negotiations. Fried Franks co-managing partner Valerie Ford Jacob told The Lawyer: "We will continue working with Ashursts as we have in the past." The original relationship was founded on a tie-up for structured finance and has been rolled out into other areas. However, Ford Jacob said the London office of Fried Frank would be looking for laterals with renewed vigour.
