`Last week Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer submitted an application to the ICJ in The Hague on behalf of the principality of Liechtenstein.`It accuses Germany of disregarding the sovereignty of the State of Liechtenstein and violating the right to peaceful enjoyment of property.`The dispute stems from World War II when Czechoslovakia confiscated assets belonging to Liechtenstein, claiming that they were German and therefore available for war reparations.
