Freshfields named as Olympic adviser

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has been appointed the official legal services provider to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The firm has been hired alongside a range of other sponsors – Deloitte is the sole accountant and British Airways the sole ­airline – and will provide advice pro bono. Freshfields London managing partner Tim Jones is overseeing the project.
