  • Clifford's problems in New York have stemmed from compensation issues. What do you reckon is hurting them in London and how is it affecting the brand worldwide?

  • Lovely to see all the usual suspects lining up at the trough of shareholder deceipt that is Lloyds. "[Forte]Give us your support to buy HBOS! [Sotto voce] It's only got a hidden £25bn in unfunded liabilities that only the BoE will touch]" Add to that this scandalous rights issue. Fund mangers will nevertheless happily sign their clients' money up to an institution whose future shape, post Euro-regulator break up, is completely unknown. Still, they all get fat commissions, paid for by pensioners, so who cares! I live in Hampshire yet I can hear the vortex from here.
