Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer associate George Swan has taken on the role of operations officer in the firm’s corporate practice management team. Swan replaces Richard Thexton, who was the first associate to hold the position.
The role was created in March when Mark Rawlinson succeeded Tim Jones as head of corporate, and is designed to give associates a greater say in management decisions.
During his six-month term Thexton sat on the monthly business management committee and participated in weekly team leader meetings.
