French insurance boutique launched

A new independent Paris firm focused on risk and financial services has been launched by three lawyers with experience of international in-house and private practice.

Xavier Périnne, Xavier Ribierre and Blake Redding founded Périnne Ribierre & Redding to provide contentious, non-contentious and risk management advice to a range of businesses.

Périnne’s experience has been focused in private practice, most recently at US insurance heavyweight LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae. He has also worked at Gide Loyrette Nouel, the now-defunct Andersen Legal and Clyde & Co.

Redding is another former Andersen lawyer, having practised as a partner with Archibald Andersen. He has also worked in-house, notably as general counsel for Michelin, and concentrates on compliance, corporate governance and risk management issues.

The final founding partner, Ribierre, has been European general counsel at AIG Life and was responsible for developing new financial products for New Re, part of Munich Re. He has private practice experience with JeantetAssociés, Stibbe and Lovells. Like Périnne Ribierre is an insurance expert.
