Midlands-based Freeth Cartwright has revealed an ambitious growth plan for the firm's Manchester office.
The firm has moved into new city centre offices twice the size of its previous base and aims to increase lawyer numbers from the present three to 15 within 12 months.
Chairman Colin Flanagan said: "The potential for growth in Manchester is pretty significant and I think that [Freeth Cartwright] is in a position where we can maximise that potential."
The firm currently has three full-time insolvency lawyers based in Manchester and one in commercial property. Weightmans employment partner Patricia Jones is due to join Freeth Cartwright's Manchester office at the start of May and the firm is looking for an assistant for her, as well as partner and assistant hires in other disciplines.
Freeth Cartwright's new 3,000sq ft base is on Manchester's Oxford Street, near the firm's current Fountain Street office.
