Freeth announces 13 per cent revenue rise

Midlands-based Freeth Cartwright has been quick out of the blocks announcing its year-end results with turnover up 13 per cent.

The 64-partner firm generating fees of over £31m, a 13 per cent increase on last year’s £27.5m.

The Leicester office, which has an annual turnover of £4m and around 50 staff, has promoted employment specialist Julian Middleton to the role of managing partner of that office. Middleton takes over the role from Robert Rowley, who continues as the office’s senior partner.

Middleton commented: “Growth has continued at well above 10 per cent per annum year on year. I hope we that we continue to develop and confirm our position as the major provider of legal advice in Leicester and the East Midlands.”

The firm also has offices in Nottingham, Derby and Manchester.
