Freemans to house firm on one site

DJ Freeman is planing to pack up its three City buildings and open in one office as part of an expansion drive.

Jonathan Lewis, chief executive, says: "Our business is growing and it is far easier to run a firm from one building."

The firm has its two buildings on Fetter Lane up for sale, and the lease on its building on Great New Street expires next September.

DJ Freeman has identified two buildings which would meet its requirements, but does not wish to reveal their location.

Both are, according to the firm, considerably larger than its three current offices combined.

Lewis says: "We are looking for anything up to 80,000 sq feet. We are using 60,000 now. If we do not find a building we will have to find extra space."

He says this could force the firm to split further into more offices across the City.
