  • Post-merger redundencies have already started. Support staff first. Fee earners next. No shortage of Herbies and Freehills resumes sitting on my desk.

  • Shouldn't they have appointed a proper English gentleman as managing partner of Australia? Afterall, this was a reverse takeover wasn't it?

  • Freehills must have been a real mess if they would allow themselves to be taken over by a firm with fewer equity partners and declining profitability.
