France's Flichy Grangé acquires Plichon

French firm Flichy Grangé Avocats has bolted on health and safety boutique Plichon in a boost for its industrial risks practice.
A team of five Plichon lawyers and one administrative staff member is joining Flichy Grangé, bringing the number of lawyers in the firm’s health and safety group to 11 from six.
Plichon founder Philippe Plichon and partner Joumana Frangie-Moukanas both join as partners. They add experience in contentious and non-contentious matters relating to industrial risks and hazards as well as social security law.
Flichy Grangé partner Joël Grangé said the health and safety practice had experienced steady growth over the past few years. He added that Plichon was an attractive proposition due to its close client relationships.
Flichy Grangé is a founder member of employment law alliance L&E Global (24 January 2011). The firm now has 17 partners and 40 associates, all of whom specialise in employment law and related areas.
