A long-established set, Fountain Court is a leading chambers in banking and finance, aviation, commercial, fraud, arbitration, employment and public law. Made up of 29 silks and 34 juniors, Fountain Court is led by Timothy Dutton QC with Alex Taylor as the director of clerking.

Timothy Dutton QC is a leading silk in commercial law, professional negligence and public law. The set boasts a number of equally impressive practitioners, including Michael Brindle QC, who specialises in banking and finance, David Railton QC, Michael Crane QC and junior barrister Patrick Goodall.

Fountain Court has a leading aviation law practice led by Bankim Thanki QC, Michael McLaren QC and Akhil Shah QC. Members regularly advise the UK Civil Aviation Authority at both the silk and junior level on cases involving low-cost airlines, aviation network profiling and airport economics.

John Taylor QC was the set’s only new silk in 2013. His practice includes large-scale litigation in banking, insurance and commercial cases.
