Forsters' PEP dips as equity expands

Forsters' average profit per equity partner (PEP) figure has fallen by more than £100,000 to £445,000 at its year-end.

Managing partner Paul Roberts said PEP had been hit by boosting the equity partnership by four to 16. "Involving people is important," he said. "We're building a firm for future generations."

Turnover rose by 10.8 per cent to £23.6m, with the private client practice growing by 25 per cent over the year.

The firm has chosen Guy Jordan as senior partner to replace Sophie Hamilton when she stands down in August.
