Financial Services Authority (FSA) lawyer Sarah Clarke is returning to the bar to join 3 Serjeants’ Inn.
Clarke spent six years at the FSA as a technical specialist and in-house counsel in the enforcement division from 2005, leaving the organisation in October.
She was previously on secondment at the regulator for a year in the same department after leaving 187 Fleet Street, where she was a junior tenant specialising in criminal law.
While at the FSA,Clarke represented it in court in a case against an unauthorised stockbroker who stole over £350,000 from clients (15 February 2008 http://www.thelawyer.com/fsa-succeeds-with-rare-stockbroker-prosecution/131238.article).
