College of Law (CoL) will honour three of the countrys top lawyers as part of its annual graduation ceremony.
Three of the countrys leading lawyers will be given Honorary Law Degrees when the CoL hosts its second Graduation Day at the Institute of Education in London. The Rt Hon Baroness Brenda Hale of Richmond, who was the first woman to join The House of Lords, and founder of law firm Pannone & Co, Rodger Pannone, will be awarded on 8 November. Former president of the Law Society and ex-senior partner of magic circle firm law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Anthony Salz will also receive an honorary degree at the event.
More than 350 Graduate Diploma in Law, Bar Vocational Course and Legal Practice Course (LPC) students will also receive awards at the ceremony.
CoL chief executive Nigel Savage said: All of the lawyers were honouring have made exceptional contributions to law and they are fantastic examples to our students.
