Ford & Warren chose not to disclose its figures this year, but The Lawyer has estimated a 6 per cent dip in turnover, from £11.3m to £10.6m. The Leeds-based firm is known for advising public sector clients, with a specific focus on health and education. It also has a focus on transport and insurance-related businesses.
Recent developments include managing partner Keith Hearn being appointed chair of the Primerus network. Ford & Warren’s relationship with this network of independent small and mid-sized law firms continues to provide the firm with its international focus.
Ford & Warren is active in the US and Canadian markets, with an affiliate office in Toronto, and it has been involved in several cross-border transactions. It also maintains a relationship with Chinese firm Zhonglun W&D, which has several offices in its native country, including in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as an office in London.
