The Football League has instructed media and communications firm Rosenblatt & Co as co-counsel in its case against Carlton and Granada. It is the first time the firm has acted on behalf of the league. The firm is working alongside primary adviser Lawrence Graham to provide strategic and tactical advice. Senior partner Ian Rosenblatt said: "Presumably [the Football League] felt that we've got skills that will be useful to help them win." Lawrence Graham partner Andrew Dobson said: "At this stage we haven't worked out any particular modus operandi. We're looking for any avenue to attack Carlton." It is the second high profile piece of work that Rosenblatts has won in recent months. It is also acting on behalf of Talksport in its appeal against Eddie Irvine in the media image rights case. Talksport came to Rosenblatts from former adviser Olswang earlier this year.
