Fladgate scoops up Gordon & Co

West End-based Fladgate has acquired two-man boutique Gordon & Co to ramp up its corporate practice.

Name partner Grant Gordon has joined Fladgate's partnership as a corporate specialist, bringing with him assistant Alan Wetterhahn.

Fladgate corporate head Charles ;Wander ;said Gordons has brought his firm several new clients.

These include private capital consortium Shine Partners and the founder shareholders of computer company Crystal Group.

"Their experience and client base will further diversify our extremely strong corporate finance and sports and leisure practices," said Wander.

A Fladgate spokesman added ;that ;Gordons' cross-border focus will complement the firm's own international practice, which accounts for more than 30 per cent of its annual income.
