Fladgate hires co-head of Finers' real estate team

Fladgate has boosted its property team with the hire of Finers Stephens Innocent’s joint head of real estate.
Stephen Lewis, who has been a partner at Finers since 2001 and was made joint head of real estate in April 2011, will join Fladgate as a partner in the real estate department in 2012.
Lewis specialises in acquisitions and disposals in the retail and leisure sectors for private investors, quoted companies and industry operators.
Fladgate chairman Charles Wander said: “Our move last year to Covent Garden was widely seen to underline our ambition, confidence and plans for future growth. Stephen’s appointment is part of our continuing strategy to identify senior individuals
with the expertise to enhance our teams.”
In July the firm hired a corporate partner from Olswang (6 July 2011).
Turnover at Fladgate grew 8 per cent in the 2010-11 financial year, to £23.5m. Net profit and average profit per equity partner both fell, however, to £6.4m and £361,000, respectively.
