Solicitor Eileen Pembridge's firm, Fisher Meredith, has launched an advert- ising campaign on buses for its twentieth anniversary."Twenty years of serving the community," says the advert for the London legal aid firm which is being carried on buses running up and down 11 bus routes.Pembridge, senior partner at the firm and unsuccessful Law Society presidential candidate, set the practice up in 1975 with Mike Fisher, who left in 1985.The firm, which is best known for its family work, now boasts 25 solicitors as well as 12 secretaries, nine paralegals, 11 support staff and eight trainees."The theme of the advertisements is that we have been providing a quality legal aid service for the community ever since we began," said Pembridge. She said that most memorable event for the firm was a "great fire" in 1977, when its former home was burnt down along with the files for more than 150 clients involved in an anti-Nazi demonstration.
