Essex residential conveyancing practice Darcy White is one of the first to try Quill Computer Systems' conveyancing case management system.
Partner Roger Morse says: "Because of this we have been able to incorporate some of our own ideas into the software."
Quill's managing director Tony Landes says the new system is currently out with three practices. "This is much more than a debugging. We will adapt the program to the needs of customers." The system will be adapted and modified to meet a wide range of needs in different practices, he says.
The practice, which has six fee earners, will have 15 users. It had been looking for a suitable package to ease the burden of processing hundreds of transactions. "We had used Quill in the past and were pleased when they told us about the new system." says Morse.
He likes it because it is a straightforward package not designed to do "a hundred and one things". It will enable the practice to streamline the conveyancing work in its Upminster and Dagenham offices and improve efficiency.
