Walker Morris's environment team achieves High Court success for FCC
Planning and environment lawyers from Walker Morris have successfully acted for FCC Environment UK Ltd (FCC) in the defence against two separate challenges to the planning permission for its energy-from-waste facility at the Calvert Landfill Site in Buckinghamshire.
Two separate claimants challenged the planning permission that was granted by Buckinghamshire County Council to FCC for its Greatmoor energy-from-waste facility in the county. Had the challenges been successful, the planning permission for the facility would have been quashed with serious ramifications for the success of the project.
The Walker Morris team was led by Alison Ogley, a specialist environment lawyer.
