More than 250 delegates from Yorkshire companies heard how the government’s programmes and plans to improve employment and employability are being pioneered by businesses in the Yorkshire district at the event hosted by Inspired Neighbourhoods CIC, held at Morrisons’ Head Office in Bradford on 16 May 2013.
Walker Morris employment partner Andrew Rayment highlighted the changes already made by the government in the employment sphere that were designed to give employers more confidence and flexibility to grow their workforces.
He stressed the importance for business of investing time and resources in recruiting and retaining a well-performing and loyal workforce, providing several practical examples for business to follow.
