Taylor Wessing appoints Sanjvee Shah to its private client practice

Taylor Wessing has announced the addition of a lateral hire to its private client practice. Sanjvee Shah is set to join the firm on 7 May 2013 from Speechly Bircham, where she was a partner in the private client division.

Shah is experienced in advising wealthy foreign domiciled individuals and families on their personal affairs, including their UK and foreign interests, either held personally or via offshore holding structures.

She also advises professional trustees, family offices and individuals on a wide variety of trust and administration matters.

Shah’s appointment follows the recent promotion of Kirstie McGuigan to the firm’s UK partnership.

McGuigan has been with the firm since 2007 and specialises in the resolution of disputes relating to the formation or administration of trusts and estates, both in a UK and international context. She also works on non-contentious matters such as trust creation and administration.
