Shoosmiths partners attend opening of UK's largest biorefinery
Shoosmiths — which advised Vivergo Fuels on the UK’s largest biorefinery — was among the guests invited to attend the official opening of the £350m plant.
The law firm provided real estate, development, planning, construction, environmental, tax, employment, commercial agreement and litigation advice regarding the biorefinery, which is located near Hull.
Partner Graham Bennett, who led the legal team, and partner Simon Wain, who led the construction team, were among the guests at the opening at Saltend Chemicals Park, which was performed by business secretary Vince Cable.
