Santiago Garrido joins Hogan Lovells as environmental law partner
Hogan Lovells has expanded its global environment practice with the hire of environmental law partner Santiago Garrido.
Garrido has more than 15 years’ experience as a regulatory lawyer, specialising in energy, natural resources, health and environmental work.
He was previously at Garrigues, where he led the environmental law department. Previous to Garrigues, he headed up the energy and environmental law department at Ernst & Young Legal.
Garrido provides legal advice to a high-profile client roster. Recent work has included advising the Spanish Association for the Management of Pharmaceutical waste (SIGRE) on regulatory and environmental matters, as well as client Atlantic Copper regarding mining activities and the production of copper.
