This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Osborne Clarke (OC) has confirmed one redundancy following its major move away from outsourcer Integreon, which has resulted in 80 staff members returning to the firm.
The switch took place yesterday (1 May) following a consultation process kicked off in March (25 March 2013).
At the same time, seven Integreon hospitality staff working on OC matters have transferring to Mitie, another outsourcing provider. Integreon is retaining OC’s information services and business intelligence unit and the emergency contact line.
The final number of job cuts follows initial expectations that one or two staff would be made redundant.
A spokesman for the firm said: “We’re excited about welcoming back some familiar faces today as well as welcoming on board some new ones as the move over from Integreon is now complete.”
The switch saw the the return to OC of functions including IT, office services, learning and development, events, document services, client relationship management and network resources, four years after the Integreon deal began in 2009 (2 February 2009).
