Olswang advises Hill Capital Partners and LDC on New World Pubco investment
Olswang’s leisure practice has advised new client Hill Capital Partners, a specialist food and beverage fund, and LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, on the investment of £2.7m of development capital in New World Pubco.
New World Pubco currently operates two pubs, The Oast House in Spinningfields, Manchester, and The Botanist in Alderley Edge, and has opened a second Botanist pub at the new Leeds Trinity shopping scheme.
The Hill Capital F&B Fund was launched in September 2012 as a new food-and-beverage-focused fund to be run by Hill Capital Partners, an investment and advisory firm founded and run by Paul Campbell. The fund is supported by LDC.
The Olswang team consisted of David Roberts, corporate partner; Gordon Ker, lead corporate associate; Stephen Baker, senior associate (property); Hannah Netherton, associate (employment); and Jenni Woolf and Alice Hyde, corporate trainees.
