Offshore-i — M&A activity in offshore financial centres
Appleby has released the latest edition of Offshore-i, the law firm’s quarterly report that provides data and insight on merger and acquisition (M&A) activity in major offshore financial centres. Focusing on the first quarter (Q1) of 2013, Appleby’s report suggests that while the period saw the lowest number of deals in the offshore region since Q1 2008, the offshore M&A market has performed better than the global average.
