Nabarro advises Hermes on investment in £90m mixed-use development in Bromley
Nabarro has advised client Hermes Real Estate on its investment in a major £90m mixed-use development in Bromley South Central.
Working with Cathedral Group and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Hermes is funding and lending circa £55m for the development, which will include a cinema, a hotel, cafes and restaurants.
Hermes is providing the senior debt facility for the residential element, which will provide 200 homes and 400 underground parking spaces.
In addition, Cathedral Group has received a development loan facility from HCA’s ‘Get Britain Building’ fund.
The Nabarro team was led by real-estate partner Simon Staite and senior associate Sergio Vella, supported by construction associate Rebecca Prigg. Senior associate Richard Williams advised on the loan arrangements.
