Mills & Reeve set to advise Blaby District Council on New Lubbesthorpe planning

Mills & Reeve is to act for Blaby District Council in the planning work arising from its recent resolution to grant planning permission for a new community west of Leicester called New Lubbesthorpe.

The scheme, to the west of the M1, will deliver 4,250 homes, an employment park creating 2,500 jobs, three schools, a district centre, two motorway bridges and a substantial amount of green space including around the Scheduled Monument of the deserted medieval settlement of Lubbesthorpe.

The developer consortium includes Hallam Land Management, Barratt David Wilson Homes and Davidson Developments.

Mills & Reeve will advise on the s.106 planning agreement and the planning conditions that will be needed to ensure delivery of necessary facilities and infrastructure.
