King & Wood Mallesons appoints first female managing partner
Stephen Minns, Australian chairman of King & Wood Mallesons, has announced the appointment of Sue Kench as the law firm’s new managing partner Australia.
Kench has been at the firm for 20 years and has a deep understanding of the business through a number of senior roles held within the Australian practice. Most recently, she has been managing partner of King & Wood Mallesons’ real estate, construction, environment and infrastructure sector.
Kench has also been a sector leader, steered the firm’s Admissions Committee for many years and was a member of the board from 2010 to 2012.
