Nick Kershaw is the chief executive of the Ogier Group and the global head of private equity. He specialises in investment funds, real-estate investment and corporate work.
Kershaw was formerly ranked by Legal 500 as the number one investment funds lawyer in Jersey and by Chambers as one of the top two corporate/commercial lawyers in Jersey. He is a past chairman of the Legal & Regulatory Sub-Committee of the Jersey Funds Association.
Kershaw studied at King’s College, University of London and Inns of Court School of Law in London. He became an English barrister in 1988 and then requalified as a Jersey advocate in 1996, becoming a partner of Ogier in 1997. Prior to joining Ogier he was with Clifford Chance in London.
His areas of expertise include: group executive; corporate and commercial; investment funds; private equity; and real estate.
