DLA Piper represents BWF on media rights deal with IMG Media
DLA Piper has represented the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on its appointment of IMG Media for the global exploitation of all media rights for all BWF major events, the BWF World Superseries and BWF Grand Prix Gold.
The deal, which comes into effect at the start of the 2014 Superseries cycle, will see BWF’s media-rights earnings increase four-fold.
The DLA Piper team was led by partner Nick Fitzpatrick and senior associate Patrick Mitchell and also included associate Sophie Spurr.
