DLA Piper litigation partner Raj Shah makes 'Chicago's 40 Under 40' list
Raj Shah, a partner in DLA Piper’s litigation practice, has been named to The National Law Journal’s ‘Chicago’s 40 Under 40’ list.
Shah was recognised for successfully representing Avis and Enterprise in a high-profile dispute against the city of Chicago over the bidding process for rental car facilities at O’Hare International Airport.
Shah was also praised for his devotion to pro bono work, citing his involvement in a trial team that successfully represented a class of past and present inmates of Tamms Correctional Center, a Supermax prison in Illinois, in their constitutional challenge of the Illinois Department of Corrections’ procedures for transferring prisoners to Tamms.
