DLA Piper lawyer relocates to Tanzania

DLA Piper has announced that senior international energy infrastructure and finance lawyer Alexander Sarac has relocated to Tanzania. He is on international secondment to IMMMA Advocates — a member of the DLA Piper Africa Group.

Sarac is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and as a qualified lawyer in Germany, and has been working in the UK since 2007.

He is experienced in projects, finance and commodities trading in emerging markets and has recently worked as lead counsel for DLA Piper in a range of matters related to the Nabucco International Gas pipeline.

Sarac will work with IMMMA Advocates and the other East Africa DLA Piper group firms. He will be advising clients on multinational transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector in the region, as well as on general finance, trade and banking matters.
