Conyers advises on $3.7bn privatisation of Focus Media Holding Ltd
Conyers Dill & Pearman has acted as Cayman counsel to the buying consortium of FountainVest Partners (Asia) Ltd, Carlyle Asian Investment Advisors Ltd and CITIC Capital Partners Management Ltd on the $3.7bn privatisation of Focus Media Holding Ltd by way of merger.
The deal is said to be the largest privatisation of a Cayman company listed on NASDAQ to date.
The Conyers team was led by M&A partner David Lamb and Angie Chu in the Hong Kong office.
