Addleshaw Goddard advises Britvic on launch of Fruit Shoot soft drink in India

Addleshaw Goddard has advised Britvic on its agreement with the Narang Group for the sale and distribution of its Fruit Shoot drink in India commencing mid-2014. The law firm’s team was led by Mike Duggan, Addleshaw Goddard’s India Business Group head, with support from corporate associate Sunjay Malhotra.

The team collaborated with Indian law firm Khaitan & Co to advise Britvic. Khaitan’s legal team was led by partner Vaishali Sharma and associate Abhishek Sinha.

    Number crunching: Addleshaw Goddard

The past five years have not been easy for Addleshaw Goddard. The firm’s revenue fell 7 per cent from £173.1m to £161.9m between 2008/09 and 2010/11 and despite finances looking up in 2011/12, when Addleshaws reported a 30 per cent increase in net profit, it has shown no notable compound growth in turnover since 2007/08.
