Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands has asked law firms to tender for its revamped panel.
The body, which had a £2.8m legal spend last year and is part-funding the £600m redevelopment of Birmingham New Street Station, has asked firms to submit tenders by 6 October this year.
The new panel will be appointed for two years and will be divided into five lots: property and planning; European Law; company, commercial and corporate; regulatory; and registration of trademarks and patents.
The last review in 2005 saw Browne Jacobson, Pinsent Masons and Stoke’s KJD win places (TheLawyer. com, 31 October 2005).
