Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co’s investment funds team acts on six transactions
The investment funds team at Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co has over the past three months acted on seven high-profile transactions that have raised more than £700m in aggregate.
In May 2014, the team acted for existing client GCP Student Living on its open offer, placing and offer for subscription, which raised £42m.
In June, the team advised Investec as sole bookrunner and sponsor on the placing and offer for subscription by Fundsmith Emerging Equities Trust that raised £193m in conjunction with its main market initial public offering (IPO).
July has been particularly busy for the team, which acted for Empiric Student Property on its placing and offer for subscription that raised £85m on its main market IPO.
In July the team also acted for Oriel Securities on the open offer, placing and offer for subscription by F&C Global Smaller Companies of convertible unsecured loan stock that raised £40m.
The team acted for Winterflood Securities (as sole bookrunner and sponsor) on the placing and offer for subscription by SQN Asset Finance Income Fund that raised £150m on its main market IPO.
Finally, the team acted for Dexion Capital and Singer N 1 as joint sponsors, financial advisers and placing agents on the placing by Blackstone/GSO Loan Financing on its admission to the Specialist Funds Market of the London Stock Exchange, which raised €260.5m (£154m).
