Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co advises Carron Energy on business disposal
Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co’s energy team has advised longstanding client Carron Energy, part of Welsh Power Group, on its disposal of three power response businesses. Carron Energy sold the businesses — Darent Power, Level Power and Rhymney Power — to Alkane Energy for £12m.
Gareth Baker, director and corporate energy sector specialist from Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, led a cross-firm team through the technically challenging sale.
The team included corporate partners Julian Henwood and Geoff Gouriet, real-estate partner Lee McBridge, corporate solicitor James Bradshaw, associates John Chater (finance), Caron Gosling (employment), Paul Harrington (tax) and paralegal Chelsie Taylor.
