Wragge & Co invites students to ‘day in the life of a lawyer’ open day
Wragge & Co has given 90 students a taster of the legal profession by inviting them to a one-day career event.
The ‘day in the life of a lawyer’ open day is aimed at year-12 students in the Midlands who are interested in a career in law. The event is targeted at talented students from backgrounds traditionally under-represented in the legal profession.
Students are offered work placements, role models and mentoring and, for the first time this year, one student will receive partial university sponsorship.
Throughout the day, the young people took part in presentations, investigated legal case studies and practised key skills such as negotiation and communication.
Several Wragge & Co trainees were on hand to offer expert advice on entering the legal profession and to discuss the highs and lows of legal life.
