Withers produces expat succession planning survey in conjunction with Focus
Withers and Focus, an expat membership organisation for international people living in the UK, have put together a survey to help understand awareness levels around succession planning for foreign nationals living in the UK, along with useful tips to help expats plan for their families’ future.
Succession planning differs enormously country to country, as do perceptions around succession planning — for example, around 70 per cent of the British people don’t have a will.
While many people understand the importance of having a will and an estate plan to safeguard their families’ future, more often than not making one remains on the ‘too difficult’ pile. When those individuals are living and working in a country they were not born in, this can often make the decision-making process even harder.
Visit the Withers worldwide homepage to take the survey.
