As chief executive partner, John Weber has overall responsibility for Minter Ellison’s global operations, including Australia, New Zealand, Greater China, Mongolia and the UK. He is a member of the firm’s partnership board and leads the management team.
Weber has driven the firm’s global strategic initiatives, which have focused on further developing the firm’s regional influence and ensuring that Minter Ellison is recognised as the law firm of choice in the Asia-Pacific region.
He is chairman of the Australian Business Community Network, a director of the Large Law Firm Group (LLFG), a member of the Business Council of Australia and its Labour Market, Skills and Education Committee, a council member of the European Australian Business Council and a member of the Asia Society’s Advisory Council.
