Walker Morris director Ray Watson set to join Debt Managers Standards Association
Walker Morris director Ray Watson will be joining the Debt Managers Standards Association (DEMSA) as non-executive chairman.
Watson is a director in the regulatory and compliance group at Walker Morris. Previously he spent many years in senior roles at the Office of Fair Trading as head of UK credit
DEMSA was established in December 2000 in order to promote good practice in the debt management industry, and to protect the interests of the public and the lenders to whom they owe money.
Watson’s appointment was confirmed by the DEMSA board on 17 September 2013 and he will formally take up the new role from the AGM on 9 October 2013.
