Walker Morris advises UK Wealth Management on acquisition
Corporate lawyers at Walker Morris have advised the management team of Yorkshire-based UK Wealth Management on its acquisition by Ashcourt Rowan.
Ashcourt Rowan has agreed to pay £14.25m in cash for the wealth management specialist, which will be funded through a placing of shares by Ashcourt Rowan.
The acquisition, which is subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority, will add £1.3bn in assets to the AIM-listed group.
John Hamer led the team, which included Rebecca Whitehouse and Edward Ainscoe from corporate and Andrew Rayment and Shakeel Dad from employment.
