Tanja Unguran is a partner in the tax department at Karanovic & Nikolic.
Unguran is responsible for tax advisory services to clients both in Serbian national tax laws and international taxation. In addition to her tax specialisation, she is an experienced M&A lawyer who has participated as the lead lawyer in some major M&A transactions in the region.
She is a member of Belgrade Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). In March 2005, Unguran was appointed the official correspondent of the International VAT Monitor for the VAT systems of Serbia and Montenegro.
She is the author of numerous publications in the area of tax and general commercial law.
Unguran is fluent in both English and Serbian (written and spoken).
