Christopher Townsend specialises in corporate tax and employee share schemes, working within Mills & Reeve’s tax, benefits and charities team.
On the tax side, Townsend’s main focus is on corporate finance transactions: advising on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, business disposals, reconstructions, MBOs and investment rounds. Outside that arena, his role involves providing tax advice on property transactions and investment funds. The team’s employee share schemes practice offers quoted and unquoted companies advice on a wide range of employee share schemes designed to suit their business objectives.
