Tim Jones of No5 Chambers was the examiner for the Cringleford neighbourhood development plan and recommended that the plan should proceed to referendum.
A referendum was held on 24 January 2014 to decide on whether South Norfolk District Council should use the neighbourhood plan for Cringleford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area.
The development plan was approved with an overwhelming majority: 741 people voted in favour and 57 people voted against.
