The Hon Norman Moore joins Minter Ellison as a consultant
Former minister for mines and petroleum, fisheries and electoral affairs The Hon Norman Moore has joined Minter Ellison as a consultant.
Minter Ellison has announced that The Hon Norman Moore, former minister for mines and petroleum, fisheries and electoral affairs and government leader in Western Australia’s Legislative Council, has joined the firm as a consultant.
Moore spent 36 years as a member of parliament and during that time held numerous ministerial portfolios in the Court and Barnett governments. In 2001, he received a Centenary Medal for ‘service to Australian society through parliament’.
Moore’s remit with the firm will focus on assisting with issues arising from mining and petroleum legislation, indigenous governance issues, including Native Title, and environmental issues relating to the mining and petroleum industries and providing guidance on parliamentary procedures and processes at both the local and federal level.
